KARTIK PATEL graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Bhagubhai Polytechnic, Mumbai, in 1980 and underwent in-plant training at Alfons Mall, machinery manufacturers of Germany. He is the Director-in-Charge of procurement and production, planning and co-ordination in the Patel Extrusion Group, who are the largest manufacturers of decorated aluminium collapsible tubes in the world. He is also in charge of manufacturing custom made profiles, aluminium containers, aerosols and bottles. He is in charge of the group’s factories at Vadodara, Vapi, Silvassa and Goa.
He is associated with various social, educational and industrial organisations and devotes considerable time to them.
